Today is day #2-post juice fast. The last few days, maybe as much as a week, I was really fantasizing about what I'd be able to eat when I was done "breaking" my fast....what was I thinking about??? Sausage & Peppers on italian bread, fried chicken, chinese food and was turning over in my mind how I could do that...how to make it happen!! Insane right!!!?
But the funny thing is that other than that french fry yesterday I am still not hungry. I did the juice/prune thing yesterday and this morning couldn't care less even if I didn't have anything. I made a big vat of juice this morning cause I've been falling off my greens this past week and need the nourishment. It has kale, spinach, zucchini, cucumber, celery, apple, lemon, beet & ginger. Made 3 1/2 pts.
So....my plan for PF day #2 is to drink the juice...at least three 16 oz. bottles, water and some cherries and watermelon. Just don't think I can do the prunes again..blechhhhhhhh!! Will I eventually have those things...I don't know..probably at some point but I am reading Eat to Live by Dr. Joel Furhman and it makes so much sense.
6 week plan-
Unlimited raw and cooked veggies (non-starchy)(1 lb raw/1 lb cooked/day...at least)..including greens.
Unlimited fruits (at least 4/day)
Up to 1 oz. raw nuts/day
limited starchy vegetable/grains
avocado-2 ozs.
Flax seed-1 T/day
No-
animal products
oils
dairy
Sounds pretty good to me and is the best way of eating to reverse and prevent disease. At this point it does seem like an abundance of food to choose from. So....that's what I'm thinking about this morning~ :)

Glad you're not going to do the prunes again, that sounded nasty! lol. Let me know if you're able to even come close to drinking all of your juice and eating your fruits today! ;) Happy Friday to you too!
